Hundreds of school children have chatted live with Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield as he orbits the earth, and now Prime Minister Stephen Harper has had his chance, too.
Harper and his wife, Laureen, were at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa Friday for a live earth-to-space video chat with Hadfield, the newly installed commander of the International Space Station.
Two members of the Canadian Space Agency, David Saint-Jacques and Mjr. Jeremy Hansen, also took part in the event, along with children, several of them from the Children's Wish Foundation, who asked Hadfield the questions.
Hadfield assumed command of the ISS on Wednesday, making him the first Canadian to command the station that orbits more than 300 km above the earth.
Hadfield, who arrived at the station in December, has been wowing his Twitter followers with his photos from space and taking questions from school kids across the country about life in space.
