As the constituency week continues, New Democrat Leader Tom Mulcair spends a second day touting his party's recently released economic platform in Toronto, where he's slated to visit no fewer than three photo op-ready local establishments: Bill's Lobster, the Grinder Coffee House and, later today, the New Ocean Supermarket in Scarborough.

Meanwhile, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is in Thunder Bay, where he'll spend the first part of the day hitting the pre-election hustings with Liberal hopeful Patty Hadju before breaking off to attend an afternoon gathering for the families of missing and murdered indigenous women.

Back on the Hill, the University of Calgary School of Public Policy releases a new study that will reveal, according to the advisory, "who really pays taxes in Canada" by analysing the tax burden by age and income group, as well as providing several "potential tax reforms."

  • Health Minister Rona Ambrose heads to Vancouver General Hospital, where, alongside her provincial counterpart, Terry Lake, she'll outline a new initiative on drug safety.
